New Dawn Safe Haven is a horse rescue, with a focus on the Brumbies currently due to their dire situation. We are an organisation, that currently has three operational sanctuaries in NSW and VIC, with plans to expand. 
These sanctuaries range from privately owned and operated properties, through to more public sanctuaries. 
Ran by a small group of passionate people, who are dedicated and committed to offering the most beautiful safe haven to our lovely horses in our care. 
New Dawn Safe Haven Inc. takes in brumbies are that surrended to our sanctuary by owners who may have lack of experience, time or money constraints, we are very understanding and pride ourselves on being approachable in the best interests of the horses. 

New Dawn Safe Haven Inc.'s "Eagle Ridge" sanctuary is home to our very experienced in house trainer. This allows to us to take horses, marked as "dangerous" and in all cases, traumitised horses that take a bit more time and expertise. This is something we are very proud - as New Dawn understands the importance of handling for all horses, and the welfare reasons this is essential.
Whilist, we have some amazing brumbies in our sanctuaries with impressive conformation, temperament, and ancestry, we currently have a strong stance on 'no breeding'. We understand that many are concerned about losing the DNA, please rest assured and know that they are already people doing the right thing by not breeding and preserving semen, and gelding their horses so they can live out life to the fullest. 
New Dawn relies solely on community support, we are 100% not-for-profit, so your support truely does allow us to keep doing wonderful things for these horses and more.
