Our Sanctuaries
New Dawn Safe Haven currently have three operational sanctuaries. All these sanctuaries either have owners that form the New Dawn team or heavily involved in New Dawn.
This offers security for our horses, and allows us to work toward the goal of securing a large piece of land for our New Dawn Brumbies.
We ask that each property is respected, and visits are only available via prior consultation (Excluding Wild Horse Paradise which is not a sanctuary open to the public).
Eagle
Ridge
Our Eagle Ridge Sanctuary is a soon to be open to the public sanctuary. Located in the Upper Hunter Valley, in the rugged hills of Giants Creek (Approx 30km west of Muswellbrook). Secluded, and a gorgeous property, offering our brumbies tranquility and the safety of surrounding hills within a large valley.
Home to our in house trainer, and the first stop sanctuary for any "dangerous" or unhandled horses.
Talgarth Farm
Located in proximity to Braidwood, the beautiful Talgarth Farm is one of our newer kids on the block however with some existing facilities. Operated by Rachael, a vibrant asset to our team. 200+ acres of rolling grasslands. Talgarth Farm will be home to our "30 mares and foals' upon their arrival. With the first New Dawn resident being an orphaned little Bago Brumby boy.
Wild Horse Paradise - Victoria
Wild Horse Paradise is home to our Eurora sale rescue Brumbies at this current time. A lovely human has offered her time and land to care for these horses.
Wild Horse Paradise is privately operated and owned, and as request of the angel human who caretakes our ND horses we keep any location information offline.
